Hello!
I am a Lecturer at Central Michigan University and an applied microeconomist working in development economics, with a research focus on education and health. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of New Mexico, and I previously served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics and Management at Albion College (2024–2025). My academic background also includes an M.A. in Economics from the University of New Mexico (2019) and an M.Sc. in Economics, with a concentration in Financial Econometrics, from Texas A&M University (2018). Before turning to economics, I earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering in India (2011) and spent four years as a Quality Control In-charge at Confidence Petroleum India Limited. That engineering background still informs my research today, particularly my attention to measurement and data quality in applied empirical work.
